History

Jim started out after college in public accounting with a couple regional firms in Charlotte. Working mainly in the tax departments with these firms he moved up to a Tax Senior. Then he worked in industry for seven years serving as a controller for a couple local companies. He returned to public accounting in Concord fall of 2002 as a Tax Manager. James B Corey PA started in fall of 2006. Jim’s CPA# is 21468. The rapidly growing accounting firm now provides Accounting, Tax, and Bookkeeping services to individual and business clients in the Carolinas and beyond.

He is a member of the following Associations:

Jim serves on various committees for local non profits and church. He is married with two children and has called Concord home since 1994.

He is a 1990 graduate of Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
